Stem and Leaf plots help simplify data by grouping scores and splitting them into a stem on the right side of a line and a leaf on the left. The stem on the right side makes up a category and the leaves are the scores within that range. By looking at this stem and leaf plot of Oswego it is easy to see the lowest recorded temperature was 63 and the highest was 101.
